    Base metal can be of course soldered with common solders.
    There are some brands (cooksongold) which sell some pre-soldered components but they are worked only in precious metals (silver, gold etc.)

    so i have the little base claw that you set a stone in, but how do i join lots of them together to form shapes, like stars or flowers? just use glue? see my cp photo book for an image I'm trying to create, its the second photos.
