  • Being Brave - My Misi shop

I have set a shop up on Misi and wondered whether you would take a look and let me know what you think about my pricing and my designs. I'm always being told I don't charge enough so I have increased my prices a little.

I only have 4 things listed at the moment.

      Hi Loiuse
I think your jewellery is realistically priced with money being a bit tight at the momet for many people.Do you include a presentaion box or organza bag for your pieces of jewllery . I know customers do love pretty boxes and bags and pouches and it does give your jewellery that extra perceived value and the very professsional and polished look.
Your work looks lovely and I wish you all the best with sales, there is nothing nicer than a gift that has been handcrafted and of course it will be unique.
      Take care

Thanks for your comments my jewellery does come in an organza bag I will have to put a note on the shop. I have just got a sewing machine not used one for about 13 years and I'm going to attempt to make my own bags.

I made quite a few at Christmas they are quite easy (I made sure that I left quite a bit of material at the top of the bag - i know it uses a little more material but found that it gave a more expensive look than the ones that you buy over the counter).

          Good Luck

            Great shop

The shop looks wonderful, how easy was it to set up because I really need to get my act together this year and think about selling the overspill of stuff I have made, especially my dichroic pendants which I still have sitting in organza bags.

            Thanks

              Hi Louise

Your designs look lovely and as LadySparkle said it is very nice to receive them in a lovely organza bag - I think I would up your prices slightly as you have to take into account the time it took you to make them and also your time to design each piece.

Well done - I wish you lots of luck.

They are lovely, good luck with misi!

Its really easy to list on there, way easier than ebay or etsy. I got confused because you list the item and add an image later and I didnt know until I looked around their forums but its a good system, you can edit images later without going through the whole relist process. I have heard good things so keeping fingers crossed!

                  Thanks for all your messages

Misi is really easy to set up, I'm just going to keep the four on for now I think and see how it goes.

Got my sewing machine today so let's see what happens with the bags.

I think your jewellery looks good and is reasonably priced. My daughter (10yrs) just pointed to your crystal one and said "wow that's a good price for that!)

I think I might look into listing on MISI if it's easy enough (I've managed e-bay!!) but I'm not much good with all the technigal jargon lol!!!

Your shop looks fine and your prices are realistic.

My only critisms (only little ones though) are your description "pot like" - it doesn't sound very professional and not everyone will know what it means. Maybe "ceramic" would be a better word?

Also I think you spelt acrylic wrong on your description of your pink necklace.

Hope I haven't offended you by pointing these out but sometimes the attention to detail can mean the difference between a sale or not.

                        Good luck with your shop.

Hi, I think your pieces look great, well done on setting that up.
I think you could raise your prices a little too, maybe by a few £s per piece?

Might have to increase my swarovski peices as the shop where I buy them has gone up 4p per bead
