I am looking to start making more upmarket jewellery and was wondering if you guys could recommend any sterling silver suppliers. I am looking for clasps/toggles, head/eye pins, beads, chain etc. Do you guys know of sustainable, reasonably priced suppliers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I have been buying from Palmers Metals, who are good, although not the cheapest once you add VAT & postage. I recently placed an order with the silver corp who were great, delivered the next day! I also recently placed an order with PJ Beads who took over a week to despatch my order and were not very helpful (although I was happy with the order once i received it).

There is also www.cooksongold.com and www.beads.co.uk the second one, P J Beads has good prices but delivery is slower, and if they are out of stock of something you may go under the wholesale amount and everything will revert to retail prices.

Like everyone else I would highly recommend Plamer metals for choice, price and quality. P.j minerals are also great they are definately the cheapest but I found the quality not as good as palmer.
                Hope this helps

ditto on Palmers for quality and service and if you are not sure about what you need, when you phone them they dont talk to you like you're some sort of idiot

We stock a good range of Sterling Silver: findings, beads, chains etc

All excellent quality too, our finished chains are unbeadable especially the diamond cut snake chains, they're so gorgeous

I'd happily recommend Debbie at Beadservice

I also use all the other suppliers recommended above, with Palmers generally being my first choice.

Pjminerals or pj beads - the same company. I think they are excellent quality and very reasonably priced. My colleague has used them for years and never had a problem!

I buy my sterling silver findings mainly from Beadalon USA and from Thailand. I also occasionally like to use Hilltribe silver findings for a more ethnic look. I have in the past bought from Bali too.
