  • Help jewellery parties!!

    Hi All

I have 2 Jewellery parties booked for November within 10 days of each other and then a jewellery fete the week after.

I am making stock but wondered what was the best way to go about stock levels etc, do i take along bits to each party along with bits for the lucky dip and raffle and also take along my album so that they can order that way and then leave stock over for the fete i am not sure which is the best way to go about it.

    thanks Keekie

Yes I think that's a good idea, taking orders is better than running out of stock completely!

Take as much jewellery as you can, it doesn't matter if you have to much stock as long as you don't run out and if you sell it all..Celebrate and good luck.. enjoy

You need to get busy - with 3 events in less than 3 weeks and so near to xmas, I reckon you're gonna be very busy.

Find out what size your table is and do a practice run at home. That way you will see how you're gonna display everything and estimate how much stock you will need. You have to make sure you have plenty of back-up stock cos you don't want empty spaces on the table when something sells. Its always a good idea to take some sort of portfolio of the things you have done in the past and things that you can make to order, which means you'll need an order book as well.

I'm sure others will be along to add more helpful tips to this this thread.

Good luck and don't forget to let us know how you get on.
