Hey, Any ideas where i can get plain white or black gift boxes i normally buy 20 of each size (necklace, chocker, earrings and bracelet) at a time? I normally buy with the non-tarnish cotton wadding.
I have recently ordered a load of boxes from a new supplier I have found. Fantastic quality boxes and great prices!! They are all black.
Postage is £6.50 but if you buy a few then it works out fine and they are cheaper than a lot of other people.
I was impressed with there boxes. It called Glitzy Packaging in Loughborough (they have a website you can order from). I am new to the forum so it will not allow me to add the link for you.
Also there is a seller on ebay - packaging world - there boxes are really nice and good value.
You could try the Tiny Box Company (http://www.tinyboxcompany.com/) not sure how their prices compare with other companies but all their packaging is recycled.
I get mine from Inca. They're based in Leicester and are wholesalers of hair accessories and costume jewellery . . . .
PLEASE DON'T SHOUT AT ME BEFORE I'VE HAD A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN . . .
before we started making our own jewellery we used to sell bought-in costume jewellery and hair accessories and Inca was one of our suppliers. They also sell boxes, gift bags and some jewellery display items and I still buy my basic black boxes from them as they have the black flock inner and not the nasty white acrylic inner and their prices are competetive.
Just to add that we do not buy jewellery from them anymore.
I haven't found the need for boxes (yet) but Glitzy packaging look very, very reasonable to me! Wonder if they'd agree to collection rather than postage as the postage is quite expensive for a small amount, but great if you want lots.
