  • stringing mandrel beads

hi, i've just bought some lovely beads from america, they were made on a 3/32 mandrel so have a large hole. What's the best way to thread them, I want the focal bead to stay still as it has a little frog on it.
    thanks

I often fill the hole with seed beads or bugle beads so the thread stays in the middle.

depends what your threading it onto. if you use cord / ribbon or such like either us 2 strands one through the bead, the other around and knotted each end. or just through the middle and knotted.

I'm with Hils on this one - I'd definitely use cord/thong and knot each end.
