  • Metal Casting Companies

    Hi everyone,

I need to find a metal casting company that will take my wax model and make a mould to cast silver in for me (as I dont have the equipment or space to do this myself) Does anyone know of a good company preferably in london, that will do this for small batches?

    Thanks.

It's not that I don't think........................it's just that I've never come across a casting company in my life! Now if you asked if anyone had any size 12 beading needles..........................!

        Metal casting

        Try this
        forum metalcastingzone.com/metal-casting-forum
        emblematictool.com/OurWork.asp
        awardle.co.uk/index.html?_ret_=return
        euro-cast.co.uk
        westonbeamor.co.uk

I would hazard a guess that what you are looking for would be more competitive to use a company in china or Hong Kong.

        Hope the links help.

            Hi there

There is a company called Quality Castings in London. I haven't used them but found out about them at college last night as we've just started looking at casting ourselves. Their web site is www.quality-casting.co.uk.

            Hope this is of use!

Sorry I can't help about the casting stuff, but just had a look at your website and was impressed with your degree work. Very individual designs.
                Take care

We are a group of five friends who visit different cities and search for interesting places to go and tour. The Butterfly Bronze Foundry is a gem! The lobby is full of beautiful finished statues and art pieces. Truly a wonderful experience!. I would like to suggest to to visit foundry located on Bons Farm, in the Essex Countryside (Close to Theydon Bois Tube, Central Line London). Foundry produces museum quality castings and specializes in fine art bronze sculpture castings.

have you tried visiting your local jewellers, not the onces you find in ever town centre more of the individual jewellers, some of those do it, or even know who could do it.

Our Permanent Mold capabilities add another dimension to the total value we offer to our customers. Metal Castings can provide in-house heat treat, full inspection lab, secondary tumbling or surface treatments complete with anodize or paint finishes.

I use Nexgen Casting or Niagara Falls Casting. Both of them are good.
