  • My first official commision.

Well do you remember a while ago Auntynet put out a call for a Tiara to be made in the north west? I live only 9 miles from the bride to be and she picked me to Make the tiara for her.
Well with knees knocking I met up with her over a coffee in her local supermarket restaurant. With some samples I'd made the day befor and my sketch book we talked over some designs . She chose something simelar the the last sample Id' made (sat in bed with a bad back at 12.30am because I couldn't sleep. )
Coulors decided and Swarov. crystals orderd here is the final 2 designs. She chose the one without the heart.

Yes I know there is an extra clear bead on the left it has been removed.
I have dropped it of with Auntynet for the Bride to pick up.( due to various plans we couldn't meet up personaly for at least 3 weeks. She works round the corner from AA's stall.)

Sat here realy nervous in case she dosen't like it .

And yes I know the pictures are overexposed it was a quick shot to see if she liked the design.

They are lovely.....siam is such a rich colour. And more and more these days brides are opting for colour in their tiaras. I love the one with the heart I could see that hanging slightly down in front of the forehead making it quite asian looking. Congratulations goldy

They look reder in the pic. they are Garnet colour realy. The wedding dress has lovely embroidery in a deep rich red more burgandy all across the bottom.

I personaly think the one she has picked is queit plain. But at the end of the day it is the costomers choice.
She is a blond so the colours will show up very nice against her hair.

I think its gorgeous Gill - very simple and uncomplicated yet with loads of that swav sparkle that you just don't get with any other crystals.

I'm sure she will be delighted with it - just sorry that it'll be me and not you that gets to see her face when she opens the box but I will be watching for you.

Will post the pics of her jewellery when I get round to making it.
