  • multi strand toggle clasps

I have a commision to make some wedding jewellery, to include bracelets. I am intending on making a 3 or 4 strand bracelet made from tiger tail. I would like to use a toggle clasp, but am having trouble finding a multi strand one. Does anyone know where i can buy some in silver plate? - if they featured a heart design that would really fit the bill.

failing that any other clasp ideas??

These have some lovely stuff - and several items i had bought from a local bead shop at greatly inflated prices, but i want a multi strand toggle clasp and couldn't find one on here unless i was looking in the wrong place.

Look for "reducers". They have the holes you need at one side and you add a toggle to the other side.

Sometimes earring findings are good to use. You know the ones with lots of holes to attach things.

I had thought of thiese but would they work with a toggle clasp? I wondered if they would be too bulky at the bar end-only one way to find out - I'll have to make another sample.

          Thanks

They are apparently in the process of updating the website to include all of their stock, so it m ight not be up yet

I would email them your specific query and see what they can do, they were very helpful when I was in the shop

                Beadalon

I use sterling silver Beadalon clasps but they are a bit expensive, if anyone wants any Beadalon items at close to wholesale prices PM me, I have a wholesale account with them and don't mind supplying forum members.
