  • I want to have a go !!!!!

Hi there all you jewellery experts. After looking at your sites & pictures of all the lovely things you make I'd love to have a go & maybe make myself a pair of dangly earrings. I've just looked on ebay for starter kits and there are a few but as someone who only buys earrings can you tell me the basics I would need to make some. I don't want to spend much at the moment so would I go for a starter kit or what. There is a bead shop just opened in Guildford, should I try there ???. Hope someone can offer me some help. Look forward to some answers. cheers Linda

Hi Linda, if you want to try making a really simple pair of dangly earrings you would need some headpins (or eyepins), earring findings, jump rings, pliers & beads. Have a look at a couple of the videos on my you tube channel for a quick demo of how to make them up (link below my sig).

    Hope that helps
    Mel

Hi Linda, I bought my first kit off ebay, cost about £25 if I remember correctly and it had a bit of everything needed and an instruction leaflet, quite a good kit really and I guess its not too much of an outlay if you find its not your thing, Selina

Thanks for replies & beadsbylili I've just watched all the turorials & they are great, I can't wait to have a go. Will have to wait until tuesday when I can get to the shops & have a good look around. You've got some fab stuff on your site so that has been added to favourites so hopefully I can shop there soon. cheers Linda
