Gilly, you could use tigertail, beadalon, softflex - these are the named brands and it is down to personal choice. Softflex is the most expensive but it is the best.
I'll back Trinity on that one. Soft Flex is much easier to use than standard tigertail. When I gave jewellery classes, I've always used Soft Flex.
Tigertail kind of ''jumps'' everywhere and kinks easily.
Soft Flex ''drapes'' better as well.
You may need crimps to secure the beads in place, tiny beads that you crush on either side of the bead. They are very commonly used in jewellery making.
