  • How lucky am I!!??

    Hi everybody,
Well, you all know I have only just started with my making jewellery with beads and even at the time I joined this forum (March I think) I had not physically started making anything, didn't even have my tools and was just gathering some beads from here there and everywhere while reading books about how to make earrings, necklaces...
Well, yesterday I had my first sale!!!! Isn't that fantastic??? I am well chaffed. Sold three pairs of earrings have been asked to make some bridal earrings for the shop belonging to the parents of the woman who bought my earrings and she wants to organize a jewellery party (she's done them before).
So, I am well happy. It means I have to get cracking making stuff since I do not have enought stock at the moment to organize a party, but isn't it a great start?? And it all came out of nowhere, completely unexpected!!!
Well, I just wanted to share this with you.
    Have fun and happy beading,
    Monica

      That's excellent

I find that you don't need that much stock for jewellery parties, as most people order something made for them. Just make an inventory with reference numbers for everything you have there and print some order forms. That way if someone wants a bracelet like x00011 for instance, but in blue & green, you can just write it all on the form.
