Do you just tend to bulk buy chains? Do you make your own? Where is a good place to buy them?

Markylis on ebay has a good range of chains at very reasonable prices,his plated chains start at £4.25 for 12 16inch ones , he has reasonable p&p as well
I tend not to buy chain by the metre now as I have always been disappointed by the quality when I receive it

P J minerals have good prices for SP chains and sterling but they can be a bit slow on delivery - but great if you don't need them really quick. Otherwise palmers metals or cookson gold both have sterling.

I tend to buy unfinished chain from Cooksons (sterling silver), then make up the necklaces as it works out a lot cheaper.
