  • Glass painting - how to avoid blistering when curing?!

    Hi!

I’m new to forums (and crafting!). I’ve starting decorating glass jars with water-based acrylic paint. It looks ok until I cure it in the oven (180 degrees for 30mins, as per web instructions) and when I take the piece out of the oven, some of the print has bubbled and ‘blistered’. What am I doing wrong??

    Thanks!

have you thopught of using air dried glass paints instead of oven curing ? I have art work in 21 countries including 3 cathedrals and never ever used oven dry paints
