  • Melting/joining glass

    My boss wants to make a solar heater out of glass tubes but he needs to know how to melt/join glass.
    Any ideas?

      Could do with some more info really...He needs to know what type of glass he has.
      Two ways of fusing glass by heat - kiln or torch

      Another way is to use UV glue

      Depends on how the glass will be used afterwards.

          Never saw this post originally. If you're still after the info Seahorse I'll ask my hubby later cos he kind of does that sort of thing as his day job so will probably know the answer.
