light box

Do any of you use a light box while painting? I was painting yesterday but found it more difficut to get an even finish with the weather being dull and wondered whether one of these would help.

We have a light box for other reasons but do use it for crafting too and it does give a good bright light, much better than ordinary bulbs but our one was quite expensive, you could try a lamp with a daylight bulb which you could pick up in a craft shop and see how that goes instead.
