stained glass (help)

I need some help looking for a workshop on stained glass in the north east (Durham) would love to try this but cant find anything tried
sunderland glass centre - colleges - art schools but not having much luck
any help would be appreciated

Hi Erika,
I went on a stained glass evening class a couple of years ago run by a guy called simon fitton at Darlington arts centre. I loved doing it so much that I do it myself at home in my little studio now. The course will probably finished for the smmer now but you could ring to get put on the course mailing list. Its usually about £50 for a term of 10 or so weeks and you can go for as long as you like, its very informal.
Hope this helps, not too sure of any other places that do it.
