  • Wrap it and bag it question.......

Can anyone recommend where I can buy small paper bags and plain white tissue paper to package my gifts for my very first craft stall at good prices? ......

I use the paper 'take away' bags when I need bags with handles, and the candy striped bags for smaller purchases. The candy stripe bags (7 in x 9 in) cost me about 3 or 4 pence each (I purchase 100 at a time). Can't remember how much the take away bags were. I bought both from ebay. Another alternative is to pop into your local independent newsagents, grocers, card shop, etc. and ask whether they'd be willing to sell you say 20 paper bags that they use. Ebay tends to be a good place to buy small quantities of bags and packaging materials.

I bought mine from Amazon, can't remember how much they cost me, I doubt it was very much.

For my wedding favours I found some really nice brown paper bags on ebay, and stamped them with a pretty heart stamp from notonthehighstreet and they looked really lovely and quirky

I use 3 sizes of paper ale away bags and the large size of white tissue. I always buy from e-bay when I need to, which is not very often as I buy 1000 of each bag each time I order. I can't remember the suppliers but there are 100s on e-bay and I just look for the cheapest.

I got mine from the bag'n'box man (bagnboxman.co.uk) as not only were the prices good, but the firm is local to me!
