  • displaying aprons at craft fairs

i might take a chance and attend a few craft fairs this year. i make childrens aprons, bunting and personalised bags. i was thinking something like a washing line would be a novel way or displaying the aprons. but ive no idea how to "Make" one small enough and portable enough. can anyone help.
i have two large inserts from rolls of fabric and was thinking of using them but can think how to stabilise them. obviously id need to tart them up a bit somehow too.

This looks a simple idea, http://www.milomade.co.uk/blog/wp-co...05/dresses.jpg I assume it is two bamboo bean canes tied or sellotaped securely to the legs of the table.

A lady I know uses the bamboo and tape to table method, however, if you are using it to display items, what about a couple of plant pots/buckets filled with something stable, to keep it from hanging down?

Why not try to get a local woodworker to put a couple of poles (cut down broom handles?) into a couple of pieces of flat wood. They can be stood on the table even clamped to it. These should be more stable giving less risk of your stuff ending on the floor. Might cost a few pounds but far better option in the long run.

Or you could use those plastic "feet" that you fill with water and use to hold down gazebo poles.
