I would like to organise a craft event at the college where I work and would like to get a list of exhibitors to contact and invite. Can anyone help as I have been unsuccessful in my search so far?

    Have you tried http://www.stallfinder.com

Or let us know which area you are in - many on here may be interested.

If you go to Stallfinder you will find exhibitors willing to pay to be on Stallfinder. However, I am sure you would get lots of enquiries from stall holders/exhibitors if you put your event on Stallfinder.com (free I believe), ask for people on here to consider it, put it on the various networking pages on Facebook. you need to be able to entice the stallholders as well somehow. More experience exhibitors may not want to attend if its the first one organised unless there is some good incentive in so doing ( low cost, large captive audience , niche market etc) I am sure there are plenty on here that will offer advice!

We really need to know where your college is as the cost of petrol makes it crazy to considering travelling far.

A trick I have observed fair organisers do is go round craft fairs picking up cards from crafters they like the look of, then contact them.
