  • Over ambitious?

The V&A museum popped into my head last night.
I just looked at the jewellery they sell and it says some pieces are created specifically for them.
As I seem to have the same obsession with history that they do, do you think i should contact them, just in general, asking how they choose whose work to sell...maybe subtley adding my link at the bottom?
Or am I being Salieri to the V&A's Mozart?

You can only ask. Every place like the V & A has to get supplies from somewhere. Ask them who their buyer is, and ask for the buyer's contact details. What's the worst the buyer can do?

Go on....go for it. Keep us posted.

I honestly think you should go for it! I think your jewellery is gorgeous and you should aim for places like that

In a glossy magazine I read I saw that someone has made crackers using their pages - I use the same pages for making envelopes. I was toying with the idea of contacting them to see if they wanted to feature them - what do you think? Or do you think they will tell me off fr using their mag?

I think BOTH of you should go for it. At the end of the day What's the worst that can happen ?

I would think the hardest part would be getting a hold of the buyers names.

        Seahorse.

What about contacting English Natural Heritage if it works you could get your thing's into the shops they have in their big houses.
I think your style would go very well with the Country Mansion set.

        Cheers Janice

Just emailed them in a very grovelly way, asking fo rany info on how designers get the chance to sell their work in their shops.
Nice and casual but to the point.
I didnt add the link but gave my work email which has the title in it.

Yep I'd say go for it both of you - what have you to loose?

And you don't want to wonder 'what if' when you're old and grey!!
