  • Displaying Scarves

I have some hand knitted scarves (I use the term knitted loosely though lol) and was wondering if anyone had any cheap and clever ways to display them at craft fairs.

I think if I just plonk them on the table it wont look very professional and will take up a lot of room.

    Any help much appreciated

How about something like those horse stands that people dry clothes on.
They could be draped over the rungs and hung up as a display behind on a wall if possible.

there was a lady at our farmers market last month selling scarves and she had taken garden ornaments like obelesque style things then stock branches through. They looked great. please excuse the standard of the drawing!
You could do similar with carpet tubing or drain pipe and then drape cloth over.

I wooden dish rack .The kind that looks like a magazine rack.

Turn it on it's side. Then double the scarfs up and pull back through.

I'm really struggling to explain this on paper. But I hope you understand what I mean.

I have seen people using coathangers you know that kind for hanging trousers on that have a bottom to them. They have decorated the hanger bit with tinsel to disguise it and hung the scarves over the bottom.

          Cheers.

You can buy a wooden trellis from a local garden centre and attach it to the table with bulldog clips. Then hang all the scarves in the different compartments - this keeps them neat and visable.

I quite like that idea you could turn I could turn it into a mini art display *wonders if my mum would notice that her trellis is missing*
