  • USA Scrapbooking forum scandal

We've just posted a story about the private messaging scandal that's hit the USA forum Two Peas in a Bucket, where moderators were calling users profane names. Has anybody heard anything more about this, or even been affected?

it seems to have been a bit of a bad week for scrapbookers in the US, with two winners of the CK scrapbooking competition having their winning titles revoked following a bit of cheating scandal.

A lot of people seem to be saying it is a very bitchy environment over there. Can't say I see it that way here- which is a good thing!

I have certainly found the US forums very bitchy and I really don't post at all - definitely a different situation here. I think people on UK forums tend to think a little bit more about what they post and how it would affect someone else - if you know what I mean. Seems that the US forums can be a bit Jerry Springer in their nature and the bitcher and more insulting the comment the better. Should let Peter loose on them.

            Cheers

That is funny! I do have a look on that site every now and again but only to look.

I think the difference is real crafters and those with too much time on their hands
