I'm waiting for my new laptop. Due to be delivered on Thursday, so I'll be spending Friday transferring everything from this one. It's a lovely little machine, 120Gb 1Gb ram, Vista Home Premium, and, as I found out after ordering and paying for it.....................................pink. Oh goody. Next stop Lapjacks for a vinyl covering!

I'm currently waiting for a violin that's being delivered from America.

I'm also waiting for my middle son to take the pile of washing that has been waitring since saturday for him to put it away. It is still on the table

BOXES !!!!! have just phoned and they havn't even put them to the print section yet !!! And a cheque from a cust. broke the Golden Rule during the postal strike and because she needed the shoe in a hurray I posted without payment. I know it was silly but who cons someone out a horseshoe.

              Lesson learned.

              Cheers Janice.

....well I've just had the mother of all rows at the post office!
I wanted to send 2 parcels to a customer 1st class and asked the best way of doing this because the post was so unreliable...the women behind the counter practically accused me of lying saying that it was all back to normal now. I tried to remain calm because after all they're the middle men but she became so rude!
She's said I'd better post the parcels by hand if I found the whole thing that unreliable..I said I'd rather just pay for special delivery as i'd miss eastenders (I don't watch it really but I didn't want to interupt myself on a sarcastic rant). I ended up paying £40!...Then she had the cheek to say that she could process the parcels because it looked like I'd made the postcode up!...It was at this point I pointed out that it was her boss that had found the postcode for me the previous day as she came behind her --I was making quite a seen by this point!
....long story short I got to vent my anger at the royal mail...although it did cost me £40!

Bet it made you feel better than just simply handing over the 40 quid without a moan though

It's sounds nothing like my local post office...the postmaster can out moan anyone about Royal Mail and there's no way in the world you'd hear him defending them, I think 'shambles' 'bloody hopeless' and '...piss up in a brewery' are a few of the ways he's described them recently.

The vintage fabric I ordered from ebay a while back arrived this morning so there will be some new funky chickens coming soon. I'm waiting on some buttons and zips from etsy and the diary that I've got a page in should be arriving soon - it left Canada at the end of Sept by boat so fingers crossed that it'll be here soon. My new sew in labels arrived today too so there should be a blog post soon with all these goodies in!!

At least you weren't asked to leave like I was last week

Not going into all the gory details, but I was so angry I used a sweary word and was kicked out!
