Not knowing on here - is that a serious question or not?

            Try here... www.dafont.com

It explains how to download onto your computer in the help section.
You can only use the ones that say 'free' if its for your website

Unless you are using a machine that has been "locked down" to restrict downloads, then your PC will do it.

Downloading just means copying the file from the web onto your computer. Either there is a link that says "Download" or you have to right-click and choose "Save Link As..." (Internet Explorer may word it differently). You then choose where to save it to on your computer, e.g. the Desktop or somewhere that you can find it easily.

Most downloads like fonts come in a compressed format - a ZIP file. You will need something to open these. I think that Windows XP might have something to do it - if not WinZip or Software995 do one, or do a search here for one.

Once you have uncompressed the file, then you just need to add it to your computer. For a new font, go Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts. Then choose "File > Install New Font..." and it will ask for the location of the file you downloaded. That's all there is to it - now you can use the new font (although you may need to restart the application if it's already open, e.g. close and reopen Word).

Any ?? drop me a line.

Yep my machine in work wont let me download because the lovely IT men have put the Kaibosh on that!!!

I use DaFont and download it at home they have a shed load of fonts to choose from.

                  Cheers.

Not to be alarmist, but just be careful what you use it for. Even though they say free, some of the say you can't use them commercially, ie, on your letterhead or something like that. Just want to make you aware.

Yep, that's true... my friend is a graphic designer and when he did my logo stuff he had to do checks
But i'm sure there is a bit on 'dafont' about it all somewhere.
