I've been thinking more and more recently about starting to sell my craft project, and was playing around with names. The one I really like is 'Athena's Boutique'... As I believe that Athena was the Greek goddess of crafts. I was wondering what you all thought???

I like it, I think it would be nice if you do a little intro explaining the chosen name as she's the goddess of arts and skill.

Mainly jewellry, but I also dabble in card making, fimo things, and glass painting... So theres a bit of a mixture

Just a thought but if you planning to have a website check which domains names are available, nothing is more annoying than deciding your company name then finding out the domain name is already bought up.

Having just gone through few months of working out name myself, I found there is lots of links on internet that help to 'test; your name.

Things, such as whether people can easily get what you mean and you do not need to spell it to them. One that I like, is that the name should 'invite people in' it should somehow temp them to find out more about you. Also that the name should not restrict you, if later you decide to branch out. Boutique sounds good, because it could be a mixture of things.

I must admit, that I like 'Pandora Box' but somebody probably already thought of it before. Definitelly check the domain - website or even e-mail to make sure it is available. The only reason, why I did not use my own name 'Magdalena' is because, web domain would cost me mere £10.000 to purchase.
