Makes you feel good don't it?!

I got my second lot of business cards from Vista print a few weeks ago (the first lot had a spelling mistake doh!) they were the premium ones, freebies and they don't look too bad.

But I feel a right numpty handing them out!!

I really need to get some business cards, I was thinking of making some out of thin sheets of clay but I think it would be a pain. Need to get some printed up, I also need to get some 'handmade by' stickers

I have one of these flyers saying 'get 1000 stickers prineted with any information you want on it for £5'.
It then has 3 lines with a maximum number of letters you can use......everything I want to put on each line goes over the maximum amount!!

I can email you a link for the Vista print stuff when I get a good offer email (they come all the time!) plus if you buy the sheets of labels you can download an Avery program that will let you print your own labels. You are restricted by how big the labels are and the size of your text! If you are interested I'll email you from home the Avery link.

PS the little feet are sooooo fab! Made 4 cards with them yesterday and husband has taken pics of the cards (he's good!) for me, so if I get chance tommorow I'll post them on the blog and craft juice so you can see what I've done with them!!

I use Vistaprint for business cards but for me, their templates don't particularly reflect my website style or name, so I just chose a design from their standard categories. They will do until I can get something more suitable.

As for handing out, yes I'm the same, always too shy but I have put a dozen in a shop and they're on the counter by the till (did ask the shop owner first ). Perhaps some of you may like to try that too.

Oh I'm shameless about handing out my business cards! A woman in Asda the other day asked me if I had made my bag (I hadn't but it was handmade by a swap partner I had) but I turned the conversation round to me and handed her one of my cards! I'm going to be known as the scary chicken lady from Burnley soon because if anyone looks at my bag/bracelets/girls t-shirts etc then they get a business card!

It also helps that I make my own envelopes so I have a sticker on the back of each one with my details - gotta promote. When we were in London recently we ate out a couple of times - my cards ended up in the bill and a couple on the table too for the waitresses!! I'm contemplating leaving some in pub toilets next to the mirror but I'm not sure! I take stuff out with me to sew too so anyone who asks what I'm doing/vaguely looks my way gets a card!

It's expensive, though - I have to tip now!

Just had the chance to go into town so I went ot my local colour photocopying place, they can do repeat prints on one page so I had my card photocopied so I can give them out when/if people buy.

He said 'I assume yuo want it done on card?' I thought it could only be prinetd on paper but I got 1 on card, the other on paper.£2.40 for about 20.
