  • Tons of help needed to blog?

I apologise in advance because i will sound totally silly. I'm quite terrible on a computer i type with 2 fingers and have to be shown how to do anything at least 3 times i'm not in the least bit computer literate, pathetic i know but i just don't get it half the time. But how do you blog, set it up, include links, content?
I would love to have a go, as some of you already know i can waffle for Britain. Life would be perfect for me as for most of us if i could just create and say to someone, here.. do your stuff, photograph it, promote it, put it on my website, shops etc, but alas we have to do it ourselves and i am terrible at doing it all!
Any basic help would be so appreciated.
Love to you all (creep creep lol)

I use blogger too and as Carol says, it is really easy. Choose your name, pick a template and start writing. All the extra fancy bits don't need to be added straight away - you can add bits and pieces when you get more comfortable with it. The content of the blog is the most important, not what it looks like.

Google also have a lot of helpful hints and tips and help files to answer your questions about Blogger (it is a Google product) and as lots of us on here use it too, you should always have someone around who can help.

Go on - give it a go, you may be surprised just how easy it is when you get started! Good luck...

If you can waffle for Britain, the blogging sounds like it'd be just up your street. I'm the same!

I'm also a technodunce, have learned a lot but have a long way to go - blogging is as easy (technically speaking) as sending an email.

Go to http://www.blogger.com and just have a look how easy it is to set up. You can be blogging within minutes - literally.

Don't worry about links or images on your first blog post - although they are easy to do.

Just do it (without the running shoes).

Go on you can do it! If you can post up a question or comment on here then doing a blog will not be too much different. I have to say blogger is probably the easiest place to start, they have lots of help on the site to get you going and just keep the design really simple by choosing one of their readymade templates - you can add bells and whistles later!
