I clicked on the poll, but today is unusual as I know exactly what I'm doing!

I have a whole list of things waiting to be made, now I just need someone to stretch my days so they are 36 hours long to give me time to do it all!

It doesn't help that I skived off for 2 days this week for a romantic tryst....

I hope you had a good time on your romantic tryst. That should stop you feeling guilty!

I've had a bad few weeks, with house things mostly, and when I'm sad I lose all inspiration

My sister's a songwriter and lives off writing about her pain, or the pain of others - lucky girl lol! She finds it wonderfully funny that I need to feel happy or at least somewhat 'in place' in order to draw my inspiration... I know I need to be burning new stock - which is great pressure to put on yourself in an artistic block! - but every time I sit down to burn I mostly just stare at the blank wood getting more and more frustrated! Everyone tells me to either try freedrawing (which occasionally works, but mostly just makes a mess... I'm rather particular lol) or to leave it and come back to it when the drawing just needs to escape me... But again, that never helps with trying to gather more stock in time for a craft fair...

Hopefully in the next few weeks that will all change and I can be back to burning until 3 in the morning lol

I'm in one of those really creative phases where as soon as I pick up my pliers, things just seem to fall together. The problem is I am quickly running out of wire and certain gemstones and no cash for more until payday in three weeks.

When you are unsure what to start work on, why not think of an animal or other subject and go to google images and search for black and white images. As long as you do not keep looking all night, I feel sure you will find something to inspire you.

I'm feeling highly creative at the moment but I'm flitting from one thing to another, my poor ol' mum is in hospital and I need to keep active and busy, I get engrossed for a while then have to change tack and do something different, I tend to get lots of new ideas when I'm worried or stressed out but lack the ability to stick to one thing.

I am very productive with a steady stream of orders but don't get that much time to be very creative although I have lots of new ideas. We're dying to know more about Deasuls tryst. Crafters Trysts could be a new category

                            I'm prevaricating!

I have to finish work for the summer, tidy the whole house, revive the veggie patch, pot on the greenhouse and then....

... I need to look again at my long list of lovely things I could make and decide which I will concentrate on first.

I have so many ideas I may as well have a creative block as I bop from one idea to the next without out achieveing anything because I haven't done all the things in my list.... and then I spend so much time on line looking at what others do I never get started on the tidying stuff, so I can never get started making something!

                            Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

That sounds like a good idea!

My tryst - I know this lovely guy, we've been seeing each other on and off for 13 years on a casual basis. We've never lived near to each other, so sometimes it's been months or even years between dates - but we always seem able to pick up where we left off and we just get on so well together. Originally he'd come to visit me when I lived in London, then I moved to the Highlands for 7 years and he visited me there a couple of times.

Now I've moved to Suffolk and he's a lot closer, so since September we've had several dates. It's the first time we've seen each other so regularly! Anyway, on Wednesday he took me away for an overnight romantic trip and all I can say on a public forum is that I had the best time ever.

                              And I've lost 6lbs since Sunday - I'm so lovesick I can't eat!
