  • I'm quite pleased with myself

It's only taken me the whole afternoon, but I've managed to set up a blog. By myself. It probably would have taken much less time had I noticed the 'apply to blog' button the first time around, but it's there. I've rambled for a bit, in lieu of a proper post, but I haven't got a clue how to put photos on there. I can't post the url, but it's dragonratjewellery dot blogspot dot com - can people pull it apart now, please?

Well done Leigh - it can be very daunting, I know but once you get into it you will start to get hooked and various things will happen that make you think 'I'll blog about that next week...'

I'm your first follower so I'll be keeping an eye on you!! (only joking!) The best way to get ideas about what to write about is to follow blogs yourself and you will soon get a feel for what other people waffle on about (I'm a good waffler myself!) I wanted to leave you a comment too but can't because blogger is playing up with comments unless there is the option for people to add a comment using 'anonymous' or 'Name/URL'. Hopefully it will get sorted out soon as it is a right pain in the backside!

If you want to read my inane ramblings, the address is in my siggy.

Edit - Oh, I nearly forgot....

    to the forum too!!

Thank you. I've had a look through yours, and I can really sympathise with that last one.

        Hello Leigh
I like your writing style - it's friendly and easy to read and I wanted to read to the end - so well done on that one as it's not always easy to find such a comfortable style at the first attempt!

A easy way to keep the blog flowing is to show your followers what you're starting work on and talk about it a bit perhaps what gave you the idea, then the next time you blog it's easy, just show the finished thing and talk about it and, to keep up the momentum, show the next project etc etc!

        Good luck!

Thanks, both. Hayley - your comment is showing, but you're not showing up as a 'follower' (I hate that term, it makes it sound like some odd American cult).
