  • Facebook shop - does anyone know how ...

How do you set up a Facebook shop? I've seen some pages with shops, but can't see how to do this.

    Any advice?

    hi
im not sure if its what you describe but the website frooly seem to have set up something where its linked in with your facebook page ( i might be wrong ) but at the last craft fair they were trying to explain it to me and it seems like your website through www.frooly.com (or uk not sure which) is linked to facebook and twitter. im still trying to understand it but havent had chance to look properly into it yet. I think this is just one group that have set it up for crafters but im sure there are probably other market place groups on there too . hope all that makes sense !
if you google frooly im sure it will have something to explain

If you have a page set up for business the storefront facility should be shown but will only be visible to you until you set up to display to the public.

Hello. I struggled just to create a Facebook page.... if you find out how to create a Facebook shop please do let us all know!
It took me a while just to create my Facebook page. I had to open a Facebook account first. That's right, I was one of the few people left in the world who didn't have one. I then created a page, and I just about managed to get 25 people to like the page - which you need to do before you can create a custom url for the page. I was going to call the page SewingCafe, but unfortunately, I named the wrong page SewingCafe, and Facebook doesn't let you reuse a name. So I had to call my page SewingCafeUK. If anyone has any tips on how to best use Facebook, please do let me know, and if you take a look at my page, please do "like" us :-)

I have a business page (I chose 'local business' when I set it up). I'll have a look at the link, thanks Caroline.

There's quite a few applications you can use to set up a store on facebook. The one i use is called Payvment, it's quite good and has a marketplace a bit like ebay so as well as finding your stuff through your page people should be able to find it searching the main marketplace.

You can see my shop on my page (click on the "shop now" on the left hand side column under my profile pic) http://www.facebook.com/BirdcageCreative.
To set up your own click on the link that opens under my shop that says "Click to sell on facebook" or something along those lines!

Also if you sell through folksy or etsy they both have their own plug-in shop for facebook.
