  • More Blogging Questions

Well we've been up and running for a couple of weeks now but I've still not done much with the blog. Does anyone know how I add a Facebook link to it? I know you can add a button so you can share it on Facebook, but what I want to do is put a link (with the FB badge) to our Facebook page.

Also, someone mentioned tags/labels. What's that all about then? Is it a case of noting the salient words from each blog? What happens to them? I'm a complete numpty when it comes to SEO etc...

Very frustrating - I can't add a URL to this reply until I've done 25 posts. There is a 'How to Add Facebook Button to Blogger' page on the internet, so I'll send the link via your blogspot.

or you could PM her with it. You will soon make 25 posts. The rule stands to deter spammers.

as far as i know, the adding keywords to your posts is so that search engines can find your blog when people search for these kind of words. I'm no SEO expert either though so maybe don't trust me LOL...

I don't know how flexible Blogger is in letting people change things on their blog, but if you can see the HTML code for your facebook link, all you need to do is replace the text "HippoTree on Facebook" with a URL of a Facebook badge.

Thanks folks - sorry, not been on here in a couple of days! I got the e-mail about the Facebook liking - so thank you for that. I'm going to try and understand it now over the next couple of days
