  • websites with free p&p

We spend a fortune on our crafting goodies when we purchase over the interent then we get lumbered with a £3.50 + p&p - Mayb we could let crafters know of web sites that offer FREE p&p - this way we can get our products and a great saving too. I would like to start the list with 2 great companies******************

    MOD EDIT:
Please read the rules about poosting URL's.

What some of them do that have free postage and packaging is figure the cost of the p & p into their product prices so it is still payed one way or the other by the customer

The cost of postage and packing always has to be included somewhere on any sold item.

I have tried doing free p&p in the past, and found no difference in the level of custom.

I personally think it is better to show the postage and packing costs seperately. At least this way, when the customer receives the item, they can see that I have not overcharged on these items to increase my profits.

I have P&P costs on my own website but sell on others where the P&P is free. The cost to the customer is the same - although they save if they buy from my own website and buy several things as there is only one P&P charge. As a consequence, I have a lot more "multiple" orders from my own website.

Where there is "free" P&P it is factored into every single item and the overall cost of a multiple order may well end up being more.
