  • Which do you think would work/look better?

I'm making a wooden plaque with another smaller hanging plaque hanging underneath, which can be turned round (back to front) - depending on which option is needed for that particular time

I'm thinking of doing it with little screw-in hooks and eyelets - would you put the hooks on the top plaque, therefore having to place the eyelets over the hooks, or would you put the eyelets on the upper plaque, and slot the hooks into the eyelets?

Hopefully this makes sense and someone can help me decide

Hooks on the top section - easier to line up than the other way round.

Thanks - was having a complete brain freeze about it - of course it would be better with the hooks on the top part - otherwise when I turn the bottom bit round, they'd be back to front.

        Thanks again!

Brain freeze is an apt description, sometimes you just need someone to point out the obvious or the not so obvious. That's one of the reasons I like this forum..... and talking to myself occasionally helps, although most of what I tell myself is gibberish!!

Lol, my 4 year old often asks me who I'm talking to - "But there's no-one else here, Mummy" It definitely helps to be able to ask daft questions on here and not be judged too harshly
