  • Liberty's says no :-(

I have had an email from Liberty's saying thanks for coming but we feel that your items are not what w want to put in to our store. Oh dear. Still I had a brilliant weekend in London so it wasn't a wasted journey. Maybe try again another time.

    Anyone else have a go?

Sorry about that Pete. They did say they really liked them which must have been brilliant to hear though. I agree with what Carol has just said, they're missing out.

So sorry Pete, but they had said they like them, were pleased with the quality and they were up for consideration, so no mean feat to get past the first round without rejection. Just so many people and they can only take a few each time. Their loss.

Did they give you any feedback as to why?

Pete - Am so sorry to hear this. Just a thought, as you have got so far with Libertys, have you considered Heals? They have a similar ethic and are definitely not just for furniture!

Sorry to hear they said no Pete, but like most have already said, it's their loss. As Ros suggested Heals would be a good one to try or maybe Harrods? I used to deal with the buying deparments of a lot of these stores in a former life, (only 25 plus years ago!) and the problem is nearly always that they decide by committee and unless there is unanimous approval for something, it won't be accepted.

That's a shame Pete - your products are amazing. Definately their loss! Well done though, it must have been very nervewracking, and it must have given you a great buzz after you did it. Keep up the good work!
