  • Revamped site

I have just spent the day revamping my site with crafting tools at www.bodrighy.co.uk and hopefully it will now work a bit better. Before it seemed that it worked n some computers and not on others so if people could have a look and let me know if there are still problems I'd be grateful. Also if I have missed any links etc. General feedback on it would be good as well in case it is really naff. After a good few hours working on it it is hard to see the wood for the trees.

    Thanks

    Pete

Grrrr....On my computer it works fine in Firefox, Chrome and IE and yet for some of you it still overlaps the screen. Just doesn't make sense. If any Techies out there have any ideas 'Help.' I am using Dreamweave to build it and just doing it WYSIWYG not HTML

Thanks Drew. I seem to have a perennial problem with this overlapping part. I have the web age at 67% size and so it should fit all screens but it seems to adjust badly ad I can't work out why. I am getting really frustrated so am leaving it for tonight or I might do something daft. I'll get there............eventually LOL.

The navigation is a little bit confusing and the links are in a different orders on different pages. Also on your non-craft items which is a different website completely I think you need to let the user know that they are going onto a different site. On the homepage the buttons and sundries link isn't pointing to the correct page.

Thanks for the help people, I'll sort out the easy problems such as different order of the links. Still don't know what I can do about the different size screens though. Got me totally baffled on that one. Have other things to do today so I may have a quick go at it lunch time and sort out the easy bits and have another look tonight at the main problem.

OK just spent my lunch break sorting out the links. They are all now in the same order and as far as I can se all work properly. Don't know what I can do about the overlapping thing as it sems to happen with some and not others. If any techies know the answer I'd be grateful LOL. If anyone sees any more glitches let me know. Thanks for all the feedback. Just what I need LOL

Yippi all the text in the same size and colour of font as well. The T&C on the Home page just has a white box with a red cross in it which doesn't look so good. Maybe you need a picture of a wagging index finger or a nagging woman ( no I'm not going to pose for a photo LOL )
