  • Friendship Bracelets

I make cotton friendship bracelets and at the moment I make them in the Cancer Research colours with all profits going to this extremely worthwhile cause. I want to try some more and was wondering what people here thought of this idea....am hoping to do some pink ones for breast cancer and maybe some red ones for comic relief.....

I really would welcome your thoughts on this

    Thanks xxx

This is a wonderful idea and I can totally understand your wish to help charities with your work, we too work together with local charities, supporting and donating where we can so I think what you are doing is fantastic

Having lost several family members and close friends to cancer then I think the range for Cancer Research and Breast Cancer would be extremely popular.

On the theme of Cancer charities, have you considered a range of green bracelets in support of MacMillan Cancer Support who do a superb job? http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx

You also have other charities such as Baby Loss Awareness (pink and blue) - http://www.babyloss-awareness.org/

Cats Protection League (yellow) - http://www.cats.org.uk/

    Dog's Trust (yellow) - http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/

Age UK, formerly Age Concern & Help the Aged - http://www.ageuk.org.uk/

    Just a few ideas...

I have nothing against charities such as Comic Relief, though for personal reasons I would be more inclined to support charities working in the UK first of all. Just my views though and I'm sure everyone is different.

Keep up the excellent and very worthwhile work

Yes.....Macmillan Cancer support was on my list.... I want to do a good range that helps as many people as possible. The Comic Relief ones will help people in this country as well as other, but I do want to concentrate on local charities as well as the big UK ones...
Thank you for your support xx
