  • Need bit of help

I emailed a well known radio DJ recently about wearing some of my pieces at an upcoming event to my amazement he emailed me back this morning and has agreed to wear my designs during all the events he will be hosting at Trinidad carnival this year. He has agreed to tag my business page in any pictures that turn up on Facebook, mention on air that he will be wearing handmade jewellery by me and some other things for me (and he is even willing to sign a contract!!)
As you can imagine I am over the moon, especially as this is the second 'celebrity' that will be endorsing my jewellery but my question is, how do I package it? I know it sounds dumb but I'll be sending him some bracelets, necklaces, keychains and a few other things but I'm not sure whether to package them all up in individual boxes and then in a big box or display/package them in some other way. Any help or suggestions at this point will be GREATLY appreciated!!

I have done this on a few occasions here in Ireland. If it's a set I package them all together and if they are different like yours I would do them individually. I'm not sure what packaging you use but I wrap in tissue with my label on the fold over and then pop them in an organza bag. Then I punch a hole in the top hand corner of my business card and tie it to the bag using the pull strings.

Congratulations...it's a great achievement for you.

Keep us posted on home it goes.

I dont know about the packaging either - all I would say is make opening the package a great experience as it will help boost their image of your products

More importantly I wanted to say WELL DONE - very exciting!

Thank you all very much for your support and replies. Have decided to go down the individual route with all of them being put into individual boxes as I would usually do then in a large co-ordinating box to finish with.
@KMD I am currently in the process of changing hosts and re-doing the website so that's probably why it's down

Hiya, firstly wow, brilliant news thats fantastic, lets hope word gets around. I dont know if youve seen the little organza bags you can get online or in craft shops, but theyre usually used for favours at weddings. they would be nice and you could put individual pieces in and then put them all into one box. it would save you money on postage and you can get different colours and designs xx
