Halloween!!! What are your plans?

Do you make your own decorations or even your kids outfits? I have always bought but this year would really love to make some homemade gear. Any suggestions? or would you care to share your plans?

Any food ideas to hand out to the kids that might be fun to make with my own nieces and kids?

My friends and I usually get together for an evening around halloween.A couple of years ago I got meringue bases, mixed red food dye with whipped cream(so it looked a bit bloody)then on top I placed some fab chocolate halloween shapes(witches,mummies)on top of them which I got from John Lewis.

So is anybody up to their necks in Halloween costumes and razz ma tazz??? My 2 kids are still too young yet but I can't wait to begin all that kinda thing with them. I'm so eager I'm already trying to hyjack my nieces from my sister to get going on their costumes!! I hate the store costumes, would much rather the fun of helping them make their own. When we were kids we used to raid the attic for any old junk clothes we could find and then make a clown face mask with a witches hat!!! We must have been frightful sights when I look back LOL Nothing matched but we thought we were the business LOL Oh well, we thought we were beautiful anyway and thats the important thing right?
