scrabblin around for help

Hi , i recently started making scrabble tile necklaces. I first tried used crystal lacquer and have since used diamond glaze (DG3) t finish them. They look brill, but after wearing them for a day they gloss and lustre of the resin finish disappears. No-one in their tutorials mentions the resin becoming dull so quickly..but neither do they talk about sealing the reverse of the tile. I can't work out where i'm going wrong.

Can anyone help please?
