  • Facebook advertising

Just had a call offering me advertising for a month for £199 on facebook.

Got him down to £99 after confusing the poor boy, then said I'd have to think about it and could they send me an e-mail with all the details.

Anyone tried it or been approached to advertise there?

I was approached in the same way but decided against it - the decider for me was when I asked people had they ever clicked on an advert on facebook and everyone said no. I think people switch off to advertising these days as we are bombarded with it.

      hmmmm £199 for what ?

Are you sure it was facebook not some company pretenting?

      Info http://www.facebook.com/ads/create/

You pay CPM (impression) or CPC (cost per click)

So What is the flat fee of £99 ?

Reducing from 199 to 99 just drops the amount of clicks OR impressions you ad will have ?

PLEASE Make sure it is FACEBOOK and not a third party/scrammer ...

I can't say I've ever clicked on one of the ads actually......

I wasn't sure of anything they said, which is why I asked for it all in writing....
