I have loads of candles at various stages as when I buy something new (which I have to admit is too often) I need to test burn it to see it works and is safe to use. I don't really make candles for myself though case I never get the time.

    Cheers.

I have loads of plates and mugs, but I haven't done them, they're what my daughter has done when she has come with me to an event I've done (her coming with me and painting is much cheaper than childcare). I've got a beautiful glazed vase and candle holders that match, but my friend keeps eyeing them up for her house lol.

I have one necklace and bracelet that I made that I always wear - I use them as advertising! I sometimes "borrow" necklaces if they match an outfit, but I don't do this too often.

I also carry round a bag that I've made, again, I use it for advertising purposes.

My son has a PE bag that I made.

I have one little sign by the front door asking people to remove their shoes, and a sign outside with our house number on, and that's it!!! Am not much of an advert for myself I'm afraid!!!

I make the toppers and embellishments into cards for birthdays etc
But they're not actually for me
I made some pots when I was at college and I've still got those in the house - does that count?!!

I've got some of my artwork dotted around the house and I wear my badges, brooches and bracelets from time to time. Of course most of the doors in the house have a chicken keeping them open and Anya takes a book bag to nursery that I made. I also take a set of business cards everywhere I go just in case I need to hand them out! Oh and of course the envelopes I use have all been recycled from magazines and have a sticker on them to say where they have come from!!
              That's quite a lot isn't it?

im trying to set up a business, and when it came to showing examples of my work i had nothing to show. Well anything worth showing would be given or sold to friends and family so ive had to pull a portfolio of cards, using different techniques together in just a few days and yes this included cross stitch, and embroiderd cards. they where ok and got the business advisors attention, but i think im going to redo them all again. that will be my downfall im never completly happy with what i make.

                  reply to the other query.

My son is also six and his bedroom is based around space, he thought about army, and pirates, but settled on space just as well really coz his room is full of doctor who stuff. we painted the walls blue and just made pictures to put up. this way i can just change the pictures as he gets older. one is a painted canvas with crimbo lights poking through(bought them for 10p in summer sales) they look just like stars when switched on. The canvas is painted like a galaxy. quite easy to make and quite effective. glow in the dark stars are stuck to the ceilling and you can even buy glow in the dark paint colour changing paint chalkboard paint and even magnetic painted. they all take a number of coats to work properly but are certainly fun for kids bedrooms.

I have a Welcome Bear who changes his outfits with the seasons on my front door and my girls have boxes painted to match their curtains. But apart from that, there is no evidence of what I do around the house!!!
