If you have a sale, when do you have it?
Is it seasonal, or do you have a timescale, say reduce things if theyve been around for a certain amount of time?

I'm toying with the idea of reducing some of my stuff but then part of me says - no!! My sales are sporadic to say the least and I haven't had enough to see any trends! As to time of day then they come in at all different times.

I would guess seasonal sales, but what's the harm of doing it when you feel like it. If you have things you want rid of to make way for new stock just do it.

Mine varies, but usually like buses - none for ages and then I get loads of commissions / orders at the same time so I'm frantic!!

My rule of thumb, is, if I've had enough of looking at it / moving it then sale time!!!

Make your own rules. I agree with sugarandspice, if you want to move stuff out and move on then have a sale. If you look at high street retailers, although they still have end of season sales, they still have mid seasonal sales. There are no rules.

Same here, as and when I decide I need to move some stock. Just had one actually after deciding I was no longer doing craft fairs so I could clear some stock, took it off whilst on holiday but will do it again now I am back, a lot of stuff went already but got some more to list. Called this one a Summer Sale, is amazing when you knock a couple of quid of people go mad for them!!!!!
