Ideas about summer

I'm involved in a summer themed swap and I need to have a summer themed container that can easily be decorated. I can only think of a bucket or an ice cream tub - can you clever people think of anything else?

You could use a bucket but decorate it to look like a sandcastle or give it a seaside theme.

paddling pool (how big a container do you want?)

A tub for sun cream

Wicker Baskets.....

......very summery! Here's mine made with the bright green gingham I bought on eBay. It's much brighter than it looks here.

Oooh - that looks lovely Jules. A basket might be the way to go cos they are fairly easy to decorate but I've got to post to the Netherlands so it can't be too big!!

What about plant pots? A set of co-ordinated ones would look really nice - they won't be too big to send and fairly light so would not break...
And you could put a packet of seed inside of seeds you have collected so its got even more of a personal touch
