  • A moan - Has anyone else encountered the same???

    Hi everyone.

I recently bought the large Forever Friends decoupage card kit (Anniversary) created by do crafts. I found that although the parts were meant to be die cut, hardly any of the pieces were, which meant that a lot of time was spent on cutting it out. Some of the pieces were also torn which ruined the large decoupage.

Just wondered if anyone else had this problem with these kits from do crafts.

I know the kit you mean but don't make cards so haven't actually bought it myself. I would contact Do Crafts and tell them that you are not happy with the quality. As such a big company, I am sure they can afford to replace the ripped/damaged items for you so that your kit is how it should be!

What a shame, especially when you look forward to getting something and putting it together =( I find it quite relaxing cutting out but it does take a lot of time, I've got to be in the mood for it! I hope you have good news from the company =)

Sorry for such a late reply! I contacted docrafts and they sent me a replacement kit, however the replacement kit was the same! They then said they couldnt do anything about it so 2 kits and neither of them made a complete decoupage.

That's a shame they were both like that but it's not correct that there's nothing they can do, they can give you a refund surely?

I would've had thought that at the very least sale of faulty goods(they were bought as DIE CUT and they're obviously not) but it would come under the DSR too so you have 7 days to return them.

I realise that it's not their fault as they didn't actually manufacturer them but that's who you bought them from.

I would contact them again and let them know you want a full refund of both sets.

              Hello...

If the kit is supposed to be DIE CUT and isnt then thats a trading standards issue surely??

You are entitled to a full refund if the goods are faulty and I would persue it because that isnt very good customer service despite the replacement item. I always strive as I am sure all of us here do to make sure our customers are 110% happy and if they arent then are refunded accordingly. Seems poor show to me from such a big company.

              Hope you get your refund
