  • First bulk order for fabric

Ooh, I feel as if I am now a proper manufacturer I have just ordered my first bulk order of fleece fabric for my cosytoes and buggy liners.

Until now I have either bought online by the meter or whizzed down to my local fabric shop, so from Friday I will have to go to my stock room (bedroom) to get it

bulk orders, aren't you a proper business now with a stock room. I trust you won't be employing people illegally from overseas now for cheap labour! lol

I am the same but 60 kilos of wax does tend to take over the stock room - sorry kitchen - but when you need to buy in bulk it is good - feel like a pure proper business now!!!

Get those cosy toes made and put down that wine girl.

            Cheers.

              bulk or wholesale

first of all, your buggy things are lovely. did you buy wholesale or in bulk. i'm making a nursery set and had to buy the material in the different lengths for each piece because all the shops i tried wouldn't sell me the amount needed. it was very annoying. if this one turns out ok i was thinking of making some to sell on ebay.

How exciting. We had our first order of 1000 bibs last month. I waited for the delivery man outside!

Our 'stockroom' is a corner of the lounge. I don't think our little one would appreciate sleeping amongst bibs!

Your cosytoes are simply gorgeous! I love the fact that they come in so many different designs. They look really snuggly and warm too, in fact, I think I am off to go and order one right now!

Any suggestions on what design to choose - there are so many lovely ones! (I have a two year old son if that helps)

Hi everyone, sorry but I haven't been on here for ages. Here's an update.

Firstly, I usually order my plain fabrics by the roll then I buy the patterned ones by the metre as I don't need as much of the patterned pieces for each cosytoes. I've got material all over the house! I keep tidying up then next thing it's all over again!

I have just added some new fabrics to the site for this winter so there's loads to choose from. They are all very soft and cuddly and I love the little monsters one or the under the sea one for the boys.

Thanks for all the lovely comments
