  • Embossing powder trouble

Ive got into embossing recently but I fond it sticks to the ink but also to bits were there is no ink.
I tapped it to get off the excess powder but didnt work, It ried getting rid of the little bits with a paintbrush or blowing on it but that doesnt work either.

    ANy suggestions?

If it's only a few specks I use a slightly damp cocktail stick.

Ive just embossed again(on mirror) and its gone all 'bitty' as in it doesnt hold the shape of the design.

Will nothing go right for me(

the reasons its sticking elsewhere on the card is most likely because youve been touching the card and the natural oils on your fingers have left a residue on the card which is surprisingly wet enough to hold the powder.....

you need to not touch the card (difficult but achievable!!) and if you do get any excess bits flick it from the other side and try brushing them away with a small brush - perhaps and old make up brush??
