I think they've got another name as well, but for the life of me can't think what it is - I shall dig around and come back if I remember.....

Have had a look on Google - searched for finger + bracelet, and slave bracelet is it! I still think there is another name, but I'll remember it in a year or two.
Here is a link to one of the images I found when searching - you have to scroll to the slave bracelets

Peter, i would love to have a go at making a simple piece of jewellery, would this one be an easy one to have a go at or is there one you would recommend. I sometimes get bored of just making cards and would like to be able to have a go for something different to do. I have plenty of seed beads but wouldn't know what wire/string to use.

It would also have to be a piece that i don't need any special tools for as it's not something i want to invest in - just want to have a play around.

                Could you suggest something?

I don't know if netting is the easiest to start with emma, it depends whether you want to use tiny beads or large stuff like crystals etc. Have a look at http://beadwork.about.com/od/freebea...rn_Beading.htm

Thanks Peter thats a great help. It's inspired me to make some beaded embellishments for cards. Once i get some proper string i shall give it ago.

I've got so many beads that i've bought just because i like them and it's nice to think that i may finally use them for something.

I'm all excited now, i love finding new things to do.
