copper leaves

I went to a Hobbycraft show and we saw some leaves which had been covered in copper. They were beautiful. I would like to know the name of this process and if possible a website i can visit where i can buy the necessary please.

Hi - are you absolutely sure they were copper? I was wondering if they were fine silver that had been treated with a patina. If you think they might possibly have been treated silver, take a look at my Somata web site and look at the silver leaves in the jewellery section. If this is the kind of thing you mean I will happily tell you how it is done Of course, I might be barking up completely the wrong tree..... or just barking......
