    Hi All

I found out yesterday that my Best Friends Hubby has been made redundant. To cut a long story short, he made my kiln for me last year, (he used to have a business making them in South Africa) and I’m wondering if there would be a market out there for hand made, made to your spec kilns? I use mine for fusing glass so it gets up to over 800 degrees centigrade, and I still can’t believe how little heat comes out (you can still touch the outside when it gets to over 500) unlike my kitchen cooker.

Any way do you think it could be a option for him to do part time/full time?

That sounds like a great idea...

How does he make them? out of metal frames, bricks and fibreglass?

        are they transportable?
